about me

Ted Wu is a strong technologist, from complex Realtime system architecture (Multi-tier, Service Oriented Architecture, Micro Services, Pub/Sub, In Memory Cache, High Availability, etc.), hands on development (database, backend, and frontend), to technical team and process management (Agile, DevOps, etc.). He also has been in the financial industry for more than 20 years. This has led him to work on trading systems for traditional portfolio management, market data, derivative valuation/analytics, portfolio accounting, research management, compliance, and others. Familiar with all asset classes from equity, fixed income, options, futures, fx, to various derivatives.

He has also developed strong familiarity with crypto assets and Blockchain technology; with Ethereum smart contracts, crypto market data, and crypto asset trading interfaces. He also took several AI courses in neural networks, with good understanding on how to apply the technology.

Being a Chief Information Officer for an acclaimed hedge fund in the US for more than 10 years, he has aided the fund grow from $300 million asset under management to over $12 billion. His clients are always in awe of his knowledge and how he has helped them solve the biggest problems in the fastest amount of time.
